Directions : Mix 2 cups softened butter with 1 cup sugar. Stir in 4 cups flour.Stir in 1 cup ground almonds until well blended. Form rounded tablespoons of dough into 2 inch long crescent shapes with your fingers. Place cookies on an ungreased parchment or foil-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 10-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.
Optional :Chop 3-4 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate and microwave in microwavable bowl on MEDIUM for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
Dip one end of each crescent into melted chocolate then sprinkle with finely chopped pistachio nuts.
