Multi Bran Banana Bread

This recipes combine the joy of eating a desert with the healthy benefits of fiber, especially bran.It is a country taste , could be a bit dry, but you do not have to worry about calories .

Multi bran banana bread ingredients:


1-1 1/2 all purpose flour

2 cups multi bran cereal

3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup mashed ripe bananas (3 bananas)

2 eggs

1/4 canola oil or grape seed oil

 

Preheat the oven to 350F (180 C). Prepare the pan by greasing it with butter or oil and add flour on the bottom and sides.

Beat the white of the egg until looks like a mousse. Add banana, yolks, oil and sugar.

In a bowl stir together flour, cereal, baking soda and baking powder.

Add the dry ingredients into the wet ones gradually. Do not over mix.

Pour everything into the loaf pan.

Bake for 55 minutes to an hour or until toothpick come out clean.
